10 best ways to redeem 200,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points

This post was originally published on this site

The all-new Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business℠ (see rates and fees) card recently launched with an incredible welcome offer: Earn 200,000 bonus points after spending $30,000 on purchases in the first six months from account opening.

Based on TPG’s July 2025 valuations, that welcome offer is worth an impressive $4,100.

With a jaw-dropping number of Chase Ultimate Rewards points available, you might be wondering how best to use them.

Rather than simply redeeming your points at a fixed rate through the Chase Travel℠ portal, you can potentially unlock even more value by transferring your points to Chase’s 14 airline and hotel partners at a 1:1 ratio.

In this guide, you’ll discover the 10 best ways to redeem 200,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points for maximum value.

Transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Iberia Club offers excellent value for business-class flights to Spain.

With the welcome offer from the Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business, you could book two round-trip business-class tickets to Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) during off-peak times from the following U.S. airports:

  • JFK, BOS and IAD: 81,000 Avios per person round-trip
  • Miami International Airport (MIA), O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW): 101,000 Avios per person round-trip, noting you would earn at least an additional 30,000 Chase points on top of the welcome offer by spending $30,000 on purchases in your first six months from account opening as the card earns at least 1 point per dollar spent on everyday purchases

Book an ANA first-class round-trip flight to Japan

Chase points transfer at a 1:1 ratio to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, and one of the best ways to redeem Virgin points is to book premium-cabin fares to Japan on Japanese airline All Nippon Airways. Round-trip business-class tickets to Tokyo cost 105,000 points from the West Coast and 120,000 points from the central U.S. and the East Coast.

First class is also a terrific deal at 125,000 points round-trip from the West Coast, and 170,000 points from the central U.S. and West Coast, meaning you could book a round-trip ticket in first class with the welcome bonus from the Sapphire Reserve for Business. For flights that regularly cost more than $20,000, this is an incredible way to redeem your Chase points.

Unfortunately, Virgin Atlantic doesn’t show availability online, so it can be hard to find first-class flights. We recommend using the handy ANA First Class Finder tool on Seats.aero, which will show you all seats in seconds through partner programs (ignore the points costs).

Once you see a flight you want to book, call Virgin at 800-862-8621, and you should be able to book these same flights with Virgin points at attractive rates.

Transferring Chase points to World of Hyatt gives you access to some of the most luxurious hotels in the world, often for fewer points than competing programs.

With 200,000 points, you could stay eight off-peak nights at opulent Category 7 properties like the Park Hyatt Marrakech, Alila Kothaifaru Maldives, Park Hyatt St. Kitts Christophe Harbour and Andaz 5th Avenue in New York City.

Or, opt for an astonishing 16 nights in off-peak Category 4 properties like the Hyatt Centric Fisherman’s Wharf San Francisco, Grand Hyatt Denver, Hyatt Place Austin Downtown and Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach. This would cover an extended vacation, or you could split it across multiple stays and destinations.

World of Hyatt award nights start at just 3,500 points per night for Category 1 properties on off-peak nights, and Hyatt doesn’t charge resort fees on award stays, making this a great value for both luxury and extended stays.

Lima, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the main international gateway to Peru, making it a convenient starting point for a trip to Machu Picchu, Cuzco, Arequipa or the Amazon. It is also considered Latin America’s culinary capital.

You could redeem exactly 200,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points for a round-trip lie-flat journey to South America for two people.

Once again, transferring your Chase points to Virgin Atlantic’s Flying Club program is a terrific option, allowing you to book flights on Virgin’s partner airline, LATAM.

You can redeem 50,000 Virgin points each way from JFK, MIA or Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) nonstop to Jorge Chavez International Airport (LIM) in Lima.

LATAM’s business-class product is roomy and features high-end finishes and delicious food, making it one of TPG’s favorite ways to travel to South America.

One of the great things about the flexibility of Ultimate Rewards points is that you can mix and match how you use your points to cover flights and accommodation on the same trip.

For example, you could transfer 80,000 Ultimate Rewards points to Southwest Airlines’ Rapid Rewards program and book four people round-trip from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) or San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) in Honolulu. You could transfer the remaining 120,000 Ultimate Rewards points to Hyatt and book two rooms at off-peak rates for five nights, staying at the Category 4 Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach.

If you can’t find off-peak award availability (or cannot travel on those dates), you could still book two rooms for four nights at the same property on standard dates for 120,000 World of Hyatt points.

That will give you plenty of space for four people to stretch out across the two rooms and enjoy your Hawaiian vacation.
