Berks County Heritage Center
Der Distelfink will greet you as you enter The Berks County Heritage Center, a historic park within the Berks County Park System. It encompasses the Gruber Wagon Works, the C. Howard Hiester Canal Center, Wertz’s Covered Bridge, the Distlefink sculpture, an herb garden, and much more. The Heritage Center hosts several annual events along with a seasonal Interpretive Program series featuring workshops and programs for all ages.
