Miel Brewery & Taproom

Miel, pronounced mee-el, is one of the latest businesses to join a cluster of locally owned breweries in New Orleans’ Irish Channel neighborhood. Miel Brewery & Taproom is a community-oriented space to grab a great beer, watch the football game or find your balance at an on-site yoga class (that’s right — you can do yoga at this brewery).

The brewery offers a suite of flagship beers, including Flor de Jamaica, a gose steeped in hibiscus flowers, pink salt and cinnamon bark. Also in the permanent rotation is Golden Boi, a light pale ale with Citra and Mosaic hops. Along with great beer, the brewery also offers a variety of hard seltzers, “slushees” and non-alcoholic options. Miel also began canning its beers in 2021, so you can take home four-packs of your favorite flavors.
