Fall Plant Sale
Saturday | October 5 | 8 A.M. – 4 P.M.
October starts the Florida gardening season. Shop from top plant vendors and prepare your home garden or landscape for the season. Enjoy live music and more on the Terrace.
Fall Hayride
10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Take a picturesque ride through the wildflowers and enjoy gorgeous views of the Pine Ridge Preserve.
Live Music on the Terrace
After plant shopping enjoy a delicious meal at The Blue Palmetto Café and great tunes on the Terrace with KeySoundSoul featuring Marcus Brixa.

El Retiro’s Landscape: A Tour Through Time
Tuesday | October 8 and 29 | 10:30-11:30 A.M.
Join Director of Horticulture Brendan Huggins on a walking tour of the gardens at El Retiro. During this tour, participants can expect to learn about William Lyman Phillips’ original design intentions and how the property has grown and matured. Learn more about the landscape elements that make this home a unique part of our Gardens.
Fall Gardening: Edible Garden Tour

Join Horticulture Manager Taylor Walker for a tour of the Outdoor Kitchen Garden to learn about the techniques, materials and varieties that grow in our fall gardens.
Boktoberfest
Friday | October 18 | 5-9 P.M.
A fall celebration of music and food, join the DeLeon Family Oktoberfest Band on the Oval Lawn for an amazing concert under the stars. Spanning 3 generations of accordion players, the DeLeon Family Oktoberfest band offers an authentic Oktoberfest experience like none other.
Halloween Charcuterie Board Making

Create a charcuterie board for your Halloween festivities! Get ready to indulge in a hands-on experience where you’ll learn the art of creating beautiful and delicious charcuterie boards. Learn about pairing different flavors, textures, and colors to create an unforgettable culinary masterpiece.
Fall Wine Walk
Saturday | November 2 | 2-5 P.M.
Sip, sample, and stroll through the Gardens while sampling 12 wines from the best wine regions in the world. Your ticket includes wine samples, nibbles at each stop, and a souvenir-tasting cup.
All Fall into the Gardens activities require advance registration and are subject to registration costs.
