1. Oglebay Festival of Lights – Wheeling

Nov. 7, 2024 – Jan. 5, 2025

Take a slow cruise and enjoy the dazzling drive-through experience at Oglebay Resort. The 6-mile display showcases over 100 decorated attractions and is lit up nightly from dusk to midnight – including holidays. You can also view the Christmas lights from a Guided Trolley Tour. Love music? Sounds of the Season lets you listen to your favorite displays come to life through the magic of sound. 2. Celebration of Lights – Fairmont

Nov. 29 – Dec. 29, 2024

Take in more than 540 lighted holiday displays at the Celebration of Lights at Morris Park in Fairmont. ​You and your family will have a magical evening and enjoy the spirit of Christmas ​as you explore 1.3 miles of lights from the comfort of your car. Wednesdays in December will be walker nights. The park will be closed to traffic, and you can take in the lights up close and pose for festive family photos.

3. Christmas in the Park – Chief Logan State Park

Nov. 28 – Dec. 31, 2024

Bring the entire family to Chief Logan State Park to experience a spectacular light display. Christmas in the Park is open from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. nightly. Stop by the park’s gift shops for perfect holiday gifts and stocking stuffers. Grab a hot dinner at the Whispering Ridge restaurant inside the lodge, and then take a leisurely drive for a fantastic light show.

4. St. Albans Festival of Lights

Nov. 26 – Dec. 26, 2024

Thousands of twinkling lights await at the St. Albans Festival of Lights at St. Albans City Park. Along this festive path, enjoy incredible West Virginia-themed light displays and take your picture with Santa while you’re there. Take the whole family or make it a Christmas date with your special someone. The display is closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

5. Holiday of Lights – Bluefield

Nov. 28, 2024 – Jan. 5, 2025

Get ready for a festive display at the Holiday of Lights at Bluefield City Park in Bluefield. This event features numerous light displays across the 110+ acre park and includes a variety of special nights where children can meet Santa and ride through the park with him on a trolley. There is something for everyone at Bluefield this time of the season.
