Big Wins for Martin County at the 2025 Flagler Awards!

We’ve got some exciting news to share—our small-but-mighty team here at the Martin County Office of Tourism & Marketing just brought home five awards from this year’s Flagler Awards!

The Flagler Awards are presented each year by VISIT FLORIDA during the Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism, and they shine a spotlight on the very best marketing campaigns across the state. In other words, it’s like the Oscars of Florida tourism, and we’re feeling pretty honored to be recognized in such great company.

Here’s the breakdown of our 2025 wins:

• Best of Show (Budget $500,000–$2 million) – Promoting Responsible Fishing with Go Fish Cards
  
• Henry Award (Sustainable Tourism Marketing) – Promoting Responsible Fishing with Go Fish Cards
  
• Henry Award (Internet Advertising) – Explore Natural Martin Video Series
  
• Silver (Direct Marketing) – Explore Natural Martin Monthly Newsletter
  
• Bronze (Radio Advertising) – Martin Memories Holiday Radio Ad

What makes this extra special is the range of categories we were recognized in: digital, sustainability, direct marketing, and even radio. It shows how versatile our approach is when it comes to sharing Martin County’s story.

As Tourism Director Nerissa Okiye put it: “These accolades reflect the creativity, collaboration, and dedication of our small-but-mighty team and our phenomenal partners who work tirelessly to promote Martin County in authentic and sustainable ways.”

And we couldn’t agree more. None of this would be possible without the support of our community, stakeholders, and the visitors themselves!

So here’s to celebrating Martin County, and to continuing to spread the word about our authentic, eco-friendly slice of paradise.
