Busch Gardens® Williamsburg is a European-themed adventure park, boasting more than 100 acres of family fun.
The world’s most beautiful theme park is home to world-class roller coasters, award-winning entertainment, and nine European villages. Loch Ness Monster, the park’s most iconic attraction will celebrate 46 years with a full restoration in 2024. Opening in Spring, Loch Ness Monster: The Legend Lives On features all-new thematic and experiential elements. While braving the first drop, catch a glimpse of something monstrous lurking under the water. After plummeting over 100 feet, race towards the first of two interlocking vertical loops, traveling up to 60 miles per hour. Next, thrill-seekers emerge into a spiraling tunnel, traversing a helix and coming face-to-face with the monster in the shadowy cave lair.
The Virginia theme park offers ten world-class coasters from the record-breaking Pantheon to the one-of-a-kind DarKoaster. In addition to thrill rides, enjoy classic attractions like the Busch Gardens Railway and the Aeronaut Skyride. The youngest adventurers can experience kid-friendly fun throughout Busch Gardens from the Sesame Street Forest of Fun to Land of the Dragons offering rides, play areas and more.
Park guests enjoy seasonal events throughout the year, beginning with Mardi Gras; a jazzy celebration straight from New Orleans. The fun continues with the fan-favorite Food & Wine Festival, featuring internationally inspired tastes and sips to savor. Spend summer at Busch Gardens with an all-new event, highlighting electrifying entertainment from day to night. In September, take on terrifying haunts and thrills at Howl-O-Scream, celebrating 25 years in 2024. End the year with Christmas Town, as millions of twinkling lights, festive shows and more shine throughout Busch Gardens.
Down the road at Water County USA, cool off at Virginia’s largest waterpark. Open seasonally from May through September, Water Country USA offers fun for the whole family. Slide into excitement on the new Riptide Race, an adrenaline-pumping slide that pits teams against each other while racing through 540 feet of slide. Looking to relax and unwind? Stop by Surfer’s Bay Wave Pool for an ocean of fun or step into Hubba Hubba Highway, the park’s radical river adventure. Water lovers of all ages can enjoy Water Country USA with Lil’ Surfers, a kid-friendly splash pad or climb and play at H2O UFO, a children’s water playground.
