As one of the nation’s few female-owned breweries, and one of the only (if not the only) cidery in Louisiana, Kingfish Cider stands apart from the state’s thriving and ever-growing brewing community.

Kingfish Cider offers a selection of cider flights, as well as cider-based cocktails. Looking for a little extra local flavor? New Orleans-based St. James Cheese Company provides Kingfish Cider with a selection of cheeses, crackers, salami, olives and other goodies — tasty complements to Kingfish Cider’s brews.

Stop by the Jefferson-based cidery for a distinct taste of Louisiana culture and try one of its five ciders and perries (pear ciders). Select from the medium-dry Huey Perry, the dry apple cider known as Blanche, the Prohibition dry perry, Uncle Earl (a hopped dry apple cider) and the Caledonia blueberry perry.
