Join the Dakota County Historical Society and the Sibley Historic Site for November’s Mendota After Hours: “Tales from the Minnesota Sports Beat: A Lifetime on Deadline,” as Patrick Reusse shares stories from his book written by his Star Tribune colleague Chip Scoggins about Reusse’s legendary sports writing and broadcasting career in Minnesota.

Paul Reusse has been a sportswriter in Minnesota since 1965 and has been with the Star Tribune since 1988. He was inducted into the Pavek Museum Broadcasting Hall of Fame in 2019. Chip Scoggins was named Minnesota Sportswriter of the Year 2013, 2016, 2017 and 2023 by the National Sports Media Association and was awarded Minnesota’s 2023 Journalist of the Year by the Minnesota Society of Professional Journalists.
