Young women from around the state will compete for glory, glamour and the right to wear the coveted tiara during the Miss Florida Scholarship Competition and Miss Florida’s Outstanding Teen Competition at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland.
Miss Florida Scholarship Competition
The Miss Florida Scholarship Competition is a preliminary competition to the Miss America Competition which is the world’s largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women and one of the nation’s largest achievement programs. The reigning Miss Florida Juliette Valle won her title last June when she competed against other young women from throughout the state for the opportunity to represent the Sunshine State at Miss America.
Miss Florida Preliminaries
Both the The Miss Florida and Miss Florida’s Outstanding Teen Preliminaries will take place June 26-28 at 7:3o p.m. The Finals for both take place on Saturday, June 29th at 3:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m, respectively.
