Established in 1998 as a non-profit organization, the Krewe of Dionysos is dedicated to the development and celebration of the Mardi Gras carnival season in Natchitoches and the surrounding community. Drive, walk or take the Yorktown Trolley. The Yorktown Trolley is one of the best ways to see the city and get to a number of popular attractions, including Riverwalk Landing. Click here to read more about Riverwalk Landing.This FREE air-conditioned service will take you from the Yorktown Battlefield Visitor Center all the way to the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, making several convenient stops along the way including Yorktown Beach and Riverwalk Landing. Each trolley is ADA accessible.  About the Yorktown Trolley There are several stops along the Yorktown Trolley’s route, starting at Yorktown Battlefield Visitors Center and ending at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown. Stops in between including: the Victory Monument, historic Main Street, Riverwalk Landing, Yorktown Beach, Watermen’s Museum and the Courts and Office Complex. The trolley route takes about 20–35 minutes to compete. For convenience, riders are encouraged to download the SPOT ETA app which provides an estimated wait time at each stop. This family friendly event will feature a variety of vendors, food including Louisiana crawfish, live music along with a chance to meet master distillers as seen on TV and some other special guests to be announced soon. While there will be some moonshine tastings and various moonshine themed merchandise, this event more than just moonshine, it’s about getting back to the basics and will honor the history and culture of Western Louisiana once known as “No Man’s Land” and will include a celebration of our veterans and military with a special veterans tribute concert on Saturday night from 7 til 9 PM.
