Thanks to the expertise of Treasure Coast Foodie, aka Thomas Miller, we’ve discovered some of the best spots serving up warm spices and rich flavors like apple, cinnamon, and pumpkin. Whether you’re looking for a cozy night out or eager to try something new, these seasonal cocktails are the perfect way to celebrate. Curfew – Vero Beach, FL Curfew is quickly becoming one of the hottest new restaurants in Downtown Vero Beach. Led by owners Tia Fanelli and Deborah Kershaw, along with Chef Red Bellamy, a Treasure Coast MasterChef competition finalist, the restaurant offers a cozy “Florida Room” with low-top tables, providing a relaxed dining atmosphere, while the bar area features high-top seating, perfect for a lively, late-night gathering spot with friends. During our visit, we had the pleasure of sampling three wonderfully creative and delicious cocktails.

Winona State Invites Community to Observatory Anonymous (not verified) Tue, 10/22/2024 – 15:25 Winona State University will host several Observatory Public Nights this fall in the WSU Observatory, located on the roof of Minné Hall. These events are free and open to the public.Attendees will have the opportunity to view planets like Saturn and Venus, along with the Moon, and a possibility of spotting Mercury early in the evening. Deep sky objects such as the Andromeda Galaxy, the Ring Nebula, and the Hercules Star Cluster may also be visible. Wear sturdy shoes and clothes suitable for climbing, as attendees will need to navigate both stairs and a ladder. Dress warmly, as it can be cold and windy on the roof. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. The event will be canceled if weather conditions are not suitable for night-sky viewing.
