He spent countless hours studying Tony’s phrasing, discography, and overall musical approach. When he was sixteen, he started traveling far and wide to see Tony as many times as possible. (He saw Bennett in concert sixteen times.) All this would culminate one fateful afternoon in 2017 when Walesch encountered Bennett while walking on 57th Street in Manhattan. This chance meeting turned into a forty-five-minute-long conversation over dinner. Here, Bennett took Andrew on a chronological journey through his career, in his own words. Local dog enthusiasts Gary and Laura Hughes believe all animals deserve only the highest quality of care. Their pet shop, Gangsta Dog, is on a mission to ensure local pets receive just that. Like any great business plan, the concept of Gangsta Dog was born out of casual bar talk.  “One evening at a restaurant, over a martini and on a bar napkin, my wife and I decided to create a business around Bruiser, our oldest dog,” remembers Gary Hughes. The name “Gangsta Dog,” in fact, is a cheeky nod to Bruiser’s mixed breed roots. The couple launched Gangsta Dog and its products at a farmer’s market in Kentucky in 2014 and expanded into an official storefront three years later.
