In the spring of 2019, an idea was born—to organize an inclusive trail event called Storm the Farm, welcoming participants of all abilities. This event aimed to showcase the challenging terrain of the Driftless area while supporting local youth mental health organizations. With the support of 148 individuals in the first year, Storm the Farm not only became a reality but also marked the inception of Storm Sporting Events. Today, we are pleased to share our growth with four trail events in The Storm Trail Race Series, the Trail Running Film Festival, and the Trinona adult and kids triathlons. Together, as a community, we are making a difference by raising funds for programs and scholarships dedicated to providing essential services in youth mental healthcare. Join us and become part of this journey. Storm Sporting Events is more than just events; it’s about building a positive community focused on mental health, physical activity, and giving back. Learn how these Scandinavians became excellent traders, craftsmen, ship-builders, inventors, and navigators, and how their raids disrupted the power structure of medieval kingdoms, ultimately resulting in the formation of Europe that exists today.
