Updated by Chris Murphy / Images from Busch Gardens Williamsburg Don’t Miss Busch Gardens’ German Beer Festival Aug 16-Sept. 2 Toast to the final weekends of summer with some refreshing frosty beverages at Busch Gardens Bier Fest. This festival spans three weekends and features more than 100 beers on tap throughout the event, live local bands and traditional German food. This year’s festival begins Aug. 16 and runs through Sept. 2. Food and Beer Available during Bier Fest Feast on Landjaeger or a Risenbrezel pretzel during Bier Fest. The park will feature a menu of German snacks, specifically for the event. Try pretzel sticks with Welsh rarebit cheese sauce, Irish nachos, corned beef, Irish pastries, smoked sausage, a beer-battered bratwurst and much more. There will be plenty of local and regional beers on tap to pair with your food. Bier Fest will showcase 16 craft breweries from the Coastal Virginia area, along with 16 more from all over Virginia.
