Top September Events in Williamsburg Ongoing-Sept. 1: Bier Fest Brews & BBQ at Busch Gardens®Get a taste of Germany at Busch Gardens Williamsburg’s annual Bier Fest. Bier Fest is an Oktoberfest celebration where you can sample traditional German food, listen to live music and more at this Bavarian celebration. This three-week festival takes place on weekends at the park and features over 100 beers on tap during the festival. Sept. 5-Nov. 2: Busch Gardens Howl-O-ScreamFall officially begins at Busch Gardens Williamsburg with the park’s annual Howl-O-Scream. This frightful, month-long event features haunted houses with monsters lurking around every corner, themed scare zones, escape rooms and entertaining live shows.
