In London, sakura season typically takes place in April but the blossoms can bloom as early as March and as late as May, depending on the weather. This year, thanks to a mild winter, the blossoms have been appearing early. Different varieties of cherry blossom trees bloom at different times some bursting with deep pink blooms, others a pale cotton candy colour, and still others with a snow white blossom.
