The new month brings even longer days and, hopefully, some more sunshine after what feels like an interminable amount of rain. London’s famous cherry blossoms aren’t quite in bloom yet (come back in early April to enjoy these) but the white and purple crocus bulbs appearing in London parks including Hyde Park and Regent’s Park promise that the arrival of spring season – and Easter – are just around the corner. This is a great time of the year to be in the city. Not only are popular sights and famous landmarks such as the London Eye and the Tower of London, less busy but there are some really fun things to do in London in March too. Here are our top picks. Spring is on its way in London March 2026 Dates for your Diary: St David’s Day takes place on Sunday 1 March.  The Battersea Affordable Art Fair is taking place from 4 to 8 March. First look: United Airlines debuts massive new club in Denver

Denver has just become the second United Airlines hub to enjoy a fully refreshed suite of lounges. That’s because United is taking the wraps off its long-awaited renovation and expansion at the B West United Club, which will open to passengers on Thursday. The B West United Club, located near Gate B32, has been closed since 2023 as part of a major lounge overhaul that United underwent at Denver International Airport (DEN). Travel perks: 9 domestic lounges that are worth going out of your way for The airline has already closed, renovated and expanded the B East United Club, and it also opened a brand-new outpost in the A Concourse back in 2023. Furthermore, the airline’s first-ever Club Fly opened in DEN in 2022. ZACH GRIFF/THE POINTS GUY But as DEN continues to retain its title as United’s fastest-growing hub, the airline wanted to breathe new life into the B West outpost as well. Now that it’s ready for flyers, DEN will have four United lounge outposts — all of which are either new or newly renovated. The only other hub with entirely new or newly renovated clubs is Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). In total, United now has more

Delta to debut major airport time-saving program in Atlanta this week

A big travel time-saver is expected to launch this week at the world’s busiest airport. By July 31, Delta Air Lines expects to begin new security protocols for passengers flying in from London and then catching a connection at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). The changes would allow those connecting passengers to skip the time-consuming baggage and security recheck process typically required after an international trip. It’s part of a new pilot program airlines are launching in concert with the Transportation Security Administration and U.S. Customs and Border Protection, streamlining a cumbersome process that can last an hour (or more) for travelers. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). SEAN CUDAHY/THE POINTS GUY Virgin Atlantic, Delta’s SkyTeam alliance partner, is expected to soon begin “one-stop” protocols in Atlanta, too. American Airlines just launched a similar program for passengers who board in London and then connect at its Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) hub. Major travel headache eliminated At both ATL and DFW, these changes eliminate one of the biggest hassles of international travel … that is, for passengers whose trip started in London. Currently, passengers catching a connection in the U.S. after a long flight from abroad face a frustrating and

Hawaiian Airlines to add premium economy to its Airbus A330 fleet

Hawaiian Airlines is getting ready to add premium economy to its workhorse fleet of long-haul planes. Last week, executives at Hawaiian’s new parent company, Alaska Air Group, confirmed the comfortable recliners are planned for the airline’s Airbus A330s — older aircraft that Hawaiian uses heavily on flights between the U.S. mainland and the Aloha State, and on international routes from Honolulu to Asia, Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific. The premium economy cabin, which blends some of the comforts of business class at a lower price point, is part of a larger cabin overhaul for the older A330s, which TPG first reported in May. Expect that refresh to include more lie-flat seats and an overall nicer onboard experience — not to mention the new cabin in the middle of the plane, executives said. “We’re going to be reconfiguring the A330s and increasing the first-class cabin … we’re going to be putting premium — international premium economy — seats on [those planes],” Alaska Chief Financial Officer Shane Tackett said, speaking Thursday on the company’s earnings call. Those cabin retrofits, Tackett noted, are expected over the “next few years” with “refreshed interiors and enhanced amenities.” Aloha to more $99 flights to
