Ongoing until Jan 5, 2025: Busch Gardens® Christmas Town
The holiday season shines brightest during Christmas Town at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. From now until Jan. 5, 2025, Christmas Town will feature 10 million twinkling lights as the park is transformed into a winter wonderland. The whole family will love the festive holiday décor, entertaining themed shows and much more during this celebration.
Dec 7: Yorktown Lighted Boat Parade
On Dec. 7, head to the Victory Monument in Yorktown to watch the Christmas Tree Lighting. The Fifes & Drums of York Town will perform and lead a procession to the waterfront. On Saturday, come out to Yorktown’s historic Main Street for the Lighted Boat Parade at the Yorktown Waterfront.
Dec. 7, 14, 21: Colonial Williamsburg Grand Illumination
Colonial Williamsburg kicks off the holiday season on Dec. 7 with the Grand Illumination. Visit Colonial Williamsburg for a full day of special events culminating in a spectacular firework show. Take part in an array of events and activities happening at Colonial Williamsburg to celebrate the Grand Illumination. Weekends, December 7, 14, 21, 2024.

Dec. 20-31: Christmastide in Virginia
Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown will give visitors a look at the Christmas traditions of the 17th and 18th centuries during Christmastide in Virginia. From Dec. 18–31, learn about these traditions through interpretive programs and demonstrations. There will be live entertainment at both museums and an appearance by the Lord of Misrule at Jamestown Settlement.
Dec. 7, 14, 15, 20: A Candlelight Christmas Tour
Break away from the hustle and bustle of the holidays and let your imagination travel back to a Colonial Christmas. Enjoy an exclusive after-hours candlelight tour of Berkeley’s 1726 Georgian mansion. Hear tales of Christmas celebrations of a bygone era, while enjoying traditional decorations of holly, pine, boxwood, and cedar. Following the tour, gather for Christmas caroling and hot cider served in Berkeley’s mansion.
