There are lots of great places to eat in London with kids but feeding a family can be expensive. Fortunately, there are also lots of really good restaurants and cafes where kids can eat for free or where £1 meals are offered.
So, as you enjoy the October half term in London, here’s my pick of the best restaurants where kids eat free in London.

Where can kids eat free in London?
The following restaurants are where you can save money eating out during the school holidays all the while keeping hungry kids happy!
Eligibility varies according to each restaurant but with most restaurants offers apply to children under 12 years old.
The majority of restaurants listed offer their free meal deals over the school holidays and in London. There are some, however, that offer kids eat free deals throughout the year.
It’s also worth remembering that some of the deals aren’t available on bank holidays so do check before you book.

Angus Steakhouse
The Angus Steakhouse menu features family faves including fish and chips, burgers and chicken schnitzel that are available to kids aged 8 and under for free when accompanied by a full-priced adult main meal. The kid’s menu also comes with an activity sheet and crayons to keep the little ones busy while you wait.
The free kid’s meal deal is available every day from 12pm to 5pm but is not applicable on Saturdays in the Bond Street and Oxford Circus branches.
ASDA Cafes
Kids can eat for £1.00 all day every day at an Asda Cafe.
Hot and cold meals are offered including pasta with meatballs, fish fingers, Margherita pizza and chicken nuggets. Kids will also receive a free piece of fruit each. Ella’s baby food pouches remain free for any children under 18 months with any purchase.
Banana Tree
For delicious Southeast Asian cuisine head to Banana Tree between Sunday and Thursday where kids under the age of 12 years old can eat for free. Choose from chicken katsu curry and sweetcorn fritters, and maybe coconut ice cream for dessert.
The kids eat free deal is available with every adult main course ordered (drinks are not included). This offer is not available at the Soho and Covent Garden branches or at the O2 Arena restaurant on event days.
Chook Chook
Popular Indian restaurant Chook Chook has a great kids eat free all day, every day this October half term.
From Saturday 25th October to Sunday 2nd November, children can enjoy a complimentary main course and side of rice from Chook Chook’s specially curated kids’ menu with every paying adult. The menu includes favourites such as the creamy Butter Chicken, the succulent Malai Salmon Tikka, and the vegetarian favourite Makhmali Paneer Tikka.
Bella Italia
Bella Italia is one of the best place where kids can eat free in London. The popular chain of Italian restaurants has one of the best deals in the city where children old can enjoy three delicious courses and a drink for free with the purchase of an adult main from Monday to Thursday.
The deal includes three courses and a drink and is available for children aged 2 – 11 years old – and it comes with a colouring sheet, too.
Even if you don’t catch the meal deal, the Italian restaurant still offers good value with their Smaller menu at £6.79 and their Larger menu at £8.79.
Bill’s Restaurants
Another family-friendly restaurant offering a free children’s meal when accompanied by a full paying adult is Bill’s. From Monday 27th – Friday 31st October, up to two kids can eat free ALL DAY when one adult purchases any main dish (offer excludes Saturday and Sunday).
The kid’s breakfast menu includes favourites such as the Little Bill’s Breakfast and their famous buttermilk pancakes. Lunch and dinner options the Bill’s children menu include burgers, fish goujons and grilled chicken accompanied by a range of sides.
Brewdog
There aren’t many London restaurants that come with their own slide like Brewdog, a fun family-friendly restaurant in London’s Waterloo.
The dedicated kids’ menu, Punk Kids, includes favourites such as chicken strips, Mac n’ Cheese and toasties, served with fries, salad and a soft drink. Aimed at children aged 10 and under, kids can eat off the Punk Kids menu for free during the school holidays.
You must pre-book and the offer is only valid with the purchase of an adult meal.
Burger King
For a quick meal fix head to Burger King (there’s one conveniently located on the Strand in central London) where Kids can enjoy at King Jr.® Meal for free between 13 October and 2 November. To get the free deal, you simply you need to ensure an adult orders a qualifying Adult Meal.
Make sure to check the website for any restrictions.
Franco Manca
For free pizza for kids head to Franco Manca where children aged 12 years and under will receive a free kids pizza for every full-paying adult. The offer only applies to individual kids pizza (not to the children’s menu) and is available Monday to Thursday.
Gordon Ramsay Restaurants
Gordon Ramsay might be one of the most famous chefs in the country but he’s also a dad and knows what it’s like to feed hungry kids.
The Ramsay Kids Menu is good value at the best of times but over the summer holidays, children aged 10 and under can enjoy a complimentary main course for each adult ordering two courses from the à la carte menu (one of these has to be a main course).
The deal is available all day every day at Bread Street Kitchen Stratford, Bread Street Kitchen Limehouse, Bread Street Kitchen Southwark, Bread Street Kitchen St Paul’s and every weekday at Bread Street Kitchen City, Heddon Street Kitchen, Bread Street Kitchen Battersea, Bar & Grill Mayfair.
It is well worth booking a table in advance.
Las Iguanas
For a taste of Latin America head to Las Iguanas where kids eat free when you download the My Iguanas app. Every Little Niños Meal includes a main course, two sides an a dessert – I can highly recommend the churros!
The deal is only available through the app and is open to children aged 12 and under.
Mamuśka! Restaurant and Bar
Enjoy traditional Polish dishes – everything from pork gulasz and pierogi to slow roasted beef cheeks and Bigos Polish stew – when you dine at Mamuśka!.
In addition to tasty Polish meals, Mamuśka! offers great value for families with a kids eat free all day every day deal.
Available for children aged 12 and under, kids can enjoy one complimentary meal form the children’s menu with every adult meal purchased.
TGI Fridays
Kids eat free all day every day at TGI Fridays. To qualify, you simply have to download their Stripes Rewards app and you can claim the free meal deal (it’s valid for new an existing members).
The TGI Fridays kids’ menu includes crowd favourites such as chicken burgers, hotdogs and chicken tenders. The deal is available to children aged 12 and under.
The Hoxton Hotels
The stylish Hoxton hotels cater to families with a Kids Eat Free deal available at their Albie, Chet’s and Rondo branches.
Valid on every weekend (with the exception of Rondo’s which is only available on Saturday) from 12pm – 5pm, kids aged 10 and under can enjoy a free child’s meal when accompanied by a dining adult.
The menu varies according to the restaurants but family favourites include fish goujons and cheeseburgers.
The Real Greek
For a change from pizza and pasta head to The Real Greek for warm flatbreads, delicious hot and cold meze, and tasty wraps filled with grilled chicken, falafel and halloumi (and more!).
Kids aged 12 and under eat free all day on Sundays: you will receive one free kids’ meal for every £15 spent by an adult on their food. The offer includes a children’s meal from the kids’ menu as well as a drink and a scoop of ice cream or sorbet for dessert.
Yo! Sushi
Children aged 12 and under can tuck into complimentary kiddo bento boxes at Yo! Sushi restaurants across London during the summer holidays. Children are eligible for a complimentary meal deal when accompanied by a paying adult (one free bento box per £10 spent on food by an accompanying adult).
The offer is valid from Monday to Friday and a maximum of 3 kids per booking can eat for free.
