American Express is once again flexing its muscle as the leader in credit card-branded airport lounges with yet another new location coming soon. This time, it’s Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS), which will soon be home to a Centurion Lounge. Amex announced on Tuesday that it would open its 29th Centurion Lounge between Concourses E and F at AMS in 2026. The more you know: The best time to book flights for the cheapest airfare The issuer teased that the space will feature a Dutch-inspired design with art from local artists, along with floor-to-ceiling windows and locally inspired food and beverage options. In fact, Amex will offer a specially designed coffee bar that plays to the importance of coffee in Dutch culture and social gatherings. The issuer shared just one rendering of the new space, and from the looks of it, the outpost should feel quite premium and airy. AMERICAN EXPRESS Unfortunately, the lounge will only measure 6,000 square feet, making it not only one of the smallest in the network but also likely one of the busiest. Taiwan-based airline EVA Airways is set to bring its brand-new premium economy cabin to the U.S. for the first time. The revamped cabin with premium recliners and new expansive seatback touchscreens will make its U.S. debut when EVA launches its inaugural Taipei service from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) this fall. Back in February, TPG was the first to report EVA’s plans to roll out an all-new premium economy product on its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. It’s a milestone for the airline, which claims to be the first in the world to have pioneered a premium economy cabin back in the early 1990s.
