Unlike traditional programs, Complete.Travel gives you flexibility: after three years, you may trade up or trade down to a different unit, resort, or destination, or simply return the timeshare or points program with no penalty, just a nominal fee to ensure the next owner has a free year of usage as well. It’s the vacationer’s version of Pay It Forward! The Complete.Travel website offers a continually updated live feed of daily travel ideas and exciting things to do across the country and around the world, turning ownership into an active lifestyle—not a liability.

Review: Windstar’s Star Legend cruises Southern Spain – Days 5 to 8

Windstar‘s Star Legend threads her way through the Mediterranean, sailing through time itself. Millennia of Phoenician legends, Roman roads, Moorish courtyards and Spanish crowns as we cruise from Malaga to Barcelona. Windstar deliver warm and intimate luxury. A small ship journey that begins amongst Málaga’s palms and Picassos, pauses at Gibraltar’s improbable outcrop of red postboxes and Barbary Apes, then drifts towards Cartagena, Valencia, Mallorca and, finally, Barcelona. Each evening, as cocktail ice clinks, Bianca, the destinations manager, offers tempting promises of what lies ahead: epic architecture, local cuisine that tells history’s stories and the culture that runs through Southern Spain’s civilisation. Day 5 – Valencia As first-time visitors, we choose the highlights tour. Others are drawn instead to the kitchen, a masterclass in the original Valencian paella. Chicken and rabbit, not a prawn in sight. They gather herbs and vegetables from a finca garden, then focus on the sacred moment of socarrat: caramelising rice into a crisp irresistible layer.  Valencia thinks boldly. After the devastating floods of 1957, the River Túria was redirected east, and in its old riverbed the city planted a dream of tomorrow. The City of Arts and Sciences rises there now. The structural white bones and sweeping wings

Eco-chic in Music City: A review of the 1 Hotel Nashville

Eco-chic 1 Hotels is expanding quickly, with new or upcoming locations in international destinations like Melbourne, Australia, and Copenhagen. But you don’t have to venture so far afield to find some of the chain’s most intriguing outposts. The 1 Hotel Nashville opened in 2022 and provides an upscale but unfussy counterpoint to some of the city’s party-heartier options. Here’s why you should consider it for your next jaunt to Music City, especially if you carry select premium credit cards. ERIC ROSEN/THE POINTS GUY 1 Hotel Nashville location Once a warren of skeletal buildings, Nashville’s SoBro neighborhood is now one of the city’s hottest districts thanks to the spate of hotels that have popped up in recent years, including the 1 Hotel. The hotel is about a 30-minute drive from Nashville International Airport (BNA), which costs around $30 each way via a ride-hailing service. Once here, you might not need a car since the honkey-tonks of Broadway, the bars of Printers Alley and various museums — including the National Museum of African American Music, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, and the Frist Art Museum — are all short walks away. Act fast: Buy Air Canada Aeroplan points with up to a 100% bonus through July 17

Aeroplan members, check your accounts as it appears that Air Canada’s loyalty program is running a flash sale over the next couple of days, and it can potentially save you money on your next flight. How does the sale work, and is it worth it? Let’s take a look. Aeroplan’s flash sale JAMES MACDONALD/BLOOMBERG/GETTY IMAGES From now through July 17, Aeroplan’s flash sale is offering up to a 100% bonus on purchased points. This promotion may be targeted, so some members may see a different offer. We’ve seen a tiered bonus depending on how many points you buy: 5,000 to 29,000 points: 55% bonus 30,000 to 79,000 points: 75% bonus 80,000 to 500,000 points: 100% bonus Aeroplan usually limits purchases to 250,000 points (before the bonus) per transaction, but this limit has been bumped up to 500,000 points for this sale. So, in theory, you could nab a total of a million points during this sale — though that would cost nearly $14,000. The maximum 100% bonus essentially halves the cost per point, bringing it down to about 1.88 Canadian cents (1.37 U.S. cents) each. And it’s worth noting that if you pay with a U.S. credit card and U.S.

Aloha to more $99 flights to Hawaii: Alaska Airlines’ Companion Fare can be used on Hawaiian Airlines flights

We’ve got great news for those who like to travel with a friend or family member: There are now more ways to book companion flights from $99 (plus taxes and fees) to Hawaii and beyond. One of the biggest 2025 storylines for those who love airline loyalty programs will likely be what happens with perks and miles related to the combined frequent flyer program of Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan and Hawaiian Airlines HawaiianMiles, following Alaska Airlines’ acquisition of Hawaiian Airlines. We’ve already seen the rollout of some reciprocal benefits, such as new checked-bag perks for cobranded cardholders of each airline, complimentary upgrades and milestone rewards for Mileage Plan elite members — but now another very exciting benefit of the combined programs is live and available for use. Alaska’s Companion Fare (which you can earn via the Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® credit card and the Alaska Airlines Visa® Business card) is now also valid on Hawaiian Airlines-operated flights within North America. Here’s what you need to know to make the most of this exciting expanded benefit. Save money on your next trip: Use these tips to never pay full price for a rental car

Road trip season is in full swing, but rental cars (like everything else) are no longer as affordable as they used to be. Plus, the initial price advertised can be misleading, as there are often hidden fees, damage waivers and other expenses to take into account. If you’re looking to cut costs on your upcoming car rental, you’ve come to the right place. This guide will provide all the tips and tricks you need to save money on your rental car. Related: The 12 best road trips to take with your family this summer Use a corporate, university or alumni code JEFFREY GREENBERG/UIG/GETTY IMAGES Using a corporate code from your job or university is one of the simplest ways to save on rental cars. It’s worth checking your corporate or alumni travel site or student benefits page for rental company discounts. Many universities have deals with Avis, Enterprise, Hertz and National that can save students and alumni significant money. Some codes may even offer additional benefits, such as free extra drivers or waived fees for drivers under 25. Always ensure you can use these codes on personal rentals, as some corporate codes are exclusively for business travel. Sometimes, your company
